2 Timothy 3:16-17 reads, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
There is a difference between study and training. You can study a piano all day, but you won’t learn how to play the instrument until you put your hands on the keys. At Redeemer, our “training plan” is simple: (1) come to God’s Word seeking to be changed; (2) pray that God would grow us in righteousness; and (3) desire for God to equip us through His Word to do every good work. Weekly Bible studies and Friday classes are just two of the many ways this training happens at Redeemer.
