Important News: No In-Person Gatherings on Christmas Day

We received news yesterday from the authorities here in Dubai who are working hard to keep all of us safe during the holidays through the pandemic. What they communicated to us were some additional safety requirements for Christmas. These requirements meant that conducting gatherings would be very difficult, and so, we, along with all our associated churches around the city, have together decided to not hold any Christmas gatherings on Friday, December 25. We encourage you to watch the video above to hear important updates from Pastor Dave Furman.

Christmas is Not Canceled

Christmas isn’t canceled. While we will not meet in person this Friday for gatherings, Redeemer Church, let’s celebrate! Our rejoicing will just be a bit different this year, and that’s okay. We’re excited for our special Christmas Redeemer Online Video which will be available from 10 AM on Christmas Day. In Friday’s video, we’ll hear the same message Pastor Morgan Renew was going to preach, there will be Christmas music to sing along with, and we’ll receive other encouragements. And make sure not to miss our final Redeemer Kids’ Advent video which will be included at the conclusion.

Let’s not waste this holiday opportunity to share the love of Christ with others. The Lord knows what is best for his people—so let’s rejoice in this season for his glory and trust that he’s going to do more than we could ask or imagine.
