Many times we talk about work as something we have to “get through” in order to enjoy our lives or live out our faith. But how often do we discuss the joy we find in our work or the characteristics of God we are able to see in our jobs? What is our definition of work? What does the Bible teach us about how we should see work? Is enjoying work optional? Do we actively view work as a gift that God has given us to enjoy, or do we view it as a curse he’s given us that we are just trying to “get through”? How does God want us to see work?
