Worship Gatherings

Join us this Sunday, January 30, as we continue our series on the book of Zechariah. Pastor Morgan Renew will preach “Fasting and Feasting” from Zechariah 7:1—8:23. Please note that our new gathering day is Sunday with services at 9 am and 11 am at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Deira. Registration is required to attend.

Register to attend

  • Attendees must adhere to social distancing rules. Face masks are required during the entire meeting and physical contact of any kind is discouraged.

  • Upon entering, attendees will be required to present their registration confirmation to check in. Please bring your confirmation QR code on your mobile device and present it to our volunteers manning the check-in stations. If you register for your family, a unique QR code will be generated for each member. Note: It is not necessary to print the QR code as it can be directly scanned from your phone.

  • To complete the arrival process and find your way to your seat in time for the start, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early.

  • Kids are allowed to attend, and families will be allowed to sit together in clusters. Children ages two to nine are invited to attend Redeemer Kids during the worship gathering their parents are attending. They will be cared for by trained volunteers in a fun and safe environment while learning important gospel truths. No advance registration is required. There are capacity limitations that may be met, so parents are encouraged to arrive in a timely way before the service to avoid lack of accommodation.

  • Washrooms are accessible at the hotel.

  • Anyone who has been in contact with someone who has been sick, has any signs of illness themself, or is currently testing positive for COVID-19 should stay home. Even if you have received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, if you are experiencing any symptoms, please stay home. Thank you.

Our worship gatherings are the primary time we gather corporately to worship God. Our goal in our worship is to follow God’s instruction for worship as seen in the Bible. We aim to pray through God's Word, sing songs based on God’s Word, read God’s Word, preach God’s Word, and see God’s greatest act in his Word (the gospel) displayed in the Lord’s Supper. We also spend time in conversation and prayer together. It is the highlight of our week to join together in worship of our great God.

During our worship gathering we will:

  • Sing
We sing both contemporary and traditional Christian songs of praise to God that center on the gospel and the work that Jesus accomplished on the cross.

  • Pray
We spend time in prayer praising God, confessing our sin, and praying for our members and governing authorities.

  • Preach
We preach the Bible as the authoritative Word of God. Our sermons aim to build up Christians in their faith and encourage non-Christians to consider Jesus.

  • Engage
As Christians we believe in a personal God who knows us intimately, and so we want to follow him in building relationships with those inside and outside the church.

Everything that we do as evangelical Christians centers around the gospel.
