What to Expect
Our worship gatherings are the primary time we gather corporately to worship God. Our goal in our worship is to follow God’s instruction for worship as seen in the Bible. We aim to pray through God's Word, sing songs based on God’s Word, read God’s Word, preach God’s Word, and see God’s greatest act in his Word (the gospel) displayed in the Lord’s Supper. We also spend time in conversation and prayer together. It is the highlight of our week to join together in the worship of our great God.
During our worship gathering we will:
- Sing
We sing both contemporary and traditional Christian songs of praise to God that center on the gospel and the work that Jesus accomplished on the cross. - Pray
We spend time in prayer praising God, confessing our sin, and praying for our members and governing authorities. - Preach
We preach the Bible as the authoritative Word of God. Our sermons aim to build up Christians in their faith and encourage non-Christians to consider Jesus. - Engage
As Christians we believe in a personal God who knows us intimately, so we want to follow him in building relationships with those inside and outside the church.
Everything that we do as evangelical Christians centers around the gospel!
